1. Basic phrases to express YOUR MOOD
When expressing feelings, the most common way to ask is "你今天怎么样Nǐ jīntiān zěnmeyàng?"
You can answer in one of the following ways:
The First One:
我Wǒ心情xīnqíng+[intensifier] + 好hǎo。 (NOTE: These can also be translated as "I'm in a ___ mood.") |
wǒ xīnqíng fēicháng hǎo. ——> My mood is very good. 😁 我心情非常好。 |
wǒ xīnqíng bùtài hǎo. ——>My mood is not too good. |
wǒ xīnqíng hěn bù hǎo. ——> My mood is not good. |
The Second One:
我 (觉得)+ (time) + [intensifier] + [emotion]。 |
wǒ juéde fēicháng kāixīn. ——> I feel very happy. 😁我觉得非常开心。 |
wǒ hěn nánguò. ——> I feel sad. 🙁我很难过。 |
wǒ jīntiān tèbié shēngqì. ——> I today feel extremely angry. 😡我今天特别生气。 |
The Third One:
[verb phrase/noun phrase ]+让ràng我wǒ觉得juéde+[intensifier] + [emotion]。 |
Bùnéng qù zhōngguó ràng wǒ juédé hěn shīwàng. ——> I feel disappointed that I cannot go to China. 不能去中国让我觉得很失望。 |
Kǎoshì ràng wǒ juédé fēicháng jǐnzhāng. ——> Exams make me feel very nervous. 考试让我觉得非常紧张。 |
