Verbing With 一下

Verbing With 一下

一下yīxià  means " briefly " or "a little bit," you can add it after a verb to express “verb for a short period of time”. We also use 一下yīxià to soften the tone. However, sometimes you might not feel the use of 一下yīxià makes much sense because Chinese people use it to feel more natural. 😎
