More and More With 越...越...
More than "putting stuff" after two instances of 越yuè in a sentence, there are a number of very specific patterns you will notice if you want to get more sophisticated with 越yuè and go beyond using the simpler 越来越yuèláiyuè.
Subj.1+越yuè……,Subj.2+越yuè……
The first 越yuè ... is mostly the reason why the second 越yuè ... happens. The pattern could be a combination of either two of them. “越yuè+adj", "verb+得de+越yuè+adj",or "越yuè+verb"
Wǒ zài zhège chéngshì zhù dé yuè jiǔ, wǒ yuè xǐhuān zhège chéngshì.
我在这个城市住得越久,我越喜欢这个城市。
The longer I live in this city, the more I like it.
Tā shuō dé yuè duō, tā lǎopó yuè shēngqì.
他说得越多,他老婆越生气。
The more he said, the angrier his wife became.
Wǒ yuè zǒu, wǒ de jiǎo yuè téng.
我越走,我的脚越疼。
The more I walked, the more my feet hurt.

Nǐ yuè ràng háizi xué, háizi yuè bù xiǎng xué.
你越让孩子学,孩子越不想学。
The more you push the kid to study, the less the kid wants to learn.
Subj.+ 越yuè +Verb+ 越yuè +Adjective / Verb
It's normally verbs or verb phrases following each 越yuè , but adjectives are also possible (typically after the second 越yuè ).
Wǒ de yīngwén yuè shuō yuè hǎo.
我的英文越说越好。
The more I speak English, the better my English is.
Wǒmen yuè xiǎng yuè shēngqì.
我们越想越生气。
The more we think about it, the angrier we get.
Nǐ zuòde zhōngguócài, yuè chī yuè hǎochī.
你做的中国菜,越吃越好吃。
The Chinese food you cooked,the more we eat,the more delicious it is.
Yǔ yuè xià yuè dà.
雨越下越大。
The more it rained, the heavier it got.
